10 am TQ907473. Meet at Egerton Village Hall car park. 8 mile circular walk going along Greensand way towards Boughton Malherbe. Lovely views with a lunch stop at Grafty Green. Dogs on a short lead permitted but there are stiles.

10 am TR358448 St Margaret's at Cliffe. Park in village car park. 8 mile circular walk: out via South Foreland, St Margaret's Bay to Kingsdown (5m); return via Ottey Bottom (3m). Picnic lunch near Zetland Arms. Walk not suitable for dogs.

10 am TR156357. Meet at the green in Saltwood village opposite the Castle hotel/pub. Approx. 10 mile circular walk to Paddlesworth, via Newington and the North Downs. Return via Tolsford Hill. Lunch / picnic. Dogs on a short lead permitted.

10 am TR001332 Hamstreet. Approx. 9.5 miles figure of 8 walk. A.m.: 5 miles, Warehorn and Faggs Wood. P.m. Bournewood, Ruckinge and canal. Could stop at garden center for tea. Place of lunch stop: Hamstreet PH or near pond. Dogs on a short lead permitted.

10 am TQ901373. Park by High Halden Green. 5 mile circular walk through fields, woodlands and meadows. Walk not suitable for dogs.

10 am TR209500 Barham. Park near the village green. 7.5m circular walk: 4 churches walk via Womenswold, Nishopsbourne and Kingston. Picnic lunch stop on the way. Walk not suitable for dogs.

10 am TQ677360. Meet at Lamberhurst car park. 9 mile figure of 8 walk. Morning:Lamberhurst to Hook Green and back for lunch approx 5 miles. Afternoon: Lamberhurst to Scotney Castle through the grounds back to the car park approx 4 miles. Walk not suitable for dogs.

SUN 17th August

10 am TQ888225 Peasmarsh. Park in school lane near school. 10 mile circular walk going through lovely hilly landscape to the ancient town of Rye (short visit). We continue northwards following the military canal and then eastwards back to Peasmarsh. Bring a packed lunch. Dogs on a short lead permitted.

18h30 TQ906473. Meet at Egerton Village Hall car park. 2.5 mile walk through orchards and across fields, followed by a meal at The George. Please let the walk leader know by Monday 11th August if you want to eat afterwards.

10 am TQ886351. Park in Grange Road near St Michaels village hall. 5 mile circular walk with splendid views through meadows, along paths, across a lively golf course. Walk not suitable for dogs.

10 am TR235501 Woolage village. Park in Nethersole Road. 10 mile circular walk via Frogham, Noningham, Goodnestone, Ratling, Aylesham, Womenswold. Lunch stop: Goodnestone, pub or picnic in the churchyard. Dogs on a short lead permitted.

10 am TR078455 Wye Crown. Park at the Devils Kneading Trough restaurant. Approx 5 mile circular walk through the lovely valley behind the Wye Crown. Lunch or coffee in the restaurant afterwards. Dogs on a short lead permitted.

10 am TR185543. 10 mile circular walk starting at Bridge recreation ground going through some lovely countryside. Picnic lunch. Dogs on a short lead permitted.

TQ843324 Reading Street. 10:15 start as the garden center does not open until 10:00. Park in garden center car park, Reading Street. Please park at the furthest end of the car park. 5 mile circular walk to Smallhythe and back, via fields and tracks, back along Reading Sewer. Anyone wishing to book for lunch let me know by Wednesday, 10 September. Ring 07976530795.  Walk not suitable for dogs.

10 am TQ944459 Little Chart. 7 Mile circular walk via Egerton and Pluckley across fields and through orchards. There will be a coffee break at The George. Dogs on a short lead permitted.

10 am TR001332. Meet at Hamstreet village car park. Walk through woods and fields. Can be quite muddy. 5 miles via Warehorn church and Faggs Wood. The train to Hamstreet is scheduled to leave Ashford at 9h22. Walk unsuitable for dogs.

10 am TQ943346. Park in Woodchurch Memorial Hall car park. 5 mile circular walk through fields, lanes and woodland. Dogs on a short lead welcome but some of the stiles are weak so beware!
