Your Committee which runs the Ashford Ramblers on your behalf is still only comprised of just 4 people most of whom are taking on more than one role, for example The  Chairman is also acting as Secretary and the list could continue. The point being that we need to have more people willing to take part in the running of our group and it involves just 3 meetings a year and plus the AGM.

If you have read this far why not go one step further and offer your skills and time, we do need your help

Whilst I am ‘rambling on’  many Parishes do not have Parish Footpath Wardens who check on the state of the paths in their own parishes. The Wardens that we do have are the first and important level of defence against the decline of our footpath network which is especially threatened during times of financial restriction such as now. If we are to protect the paths in your parish so that they are still there for yours and your families future pleasure  then we need your involvement.

If, like me, you are concerned then please offer your time and enthusiasm.
