Andrew led the 13 mile walk, with Geoffrey as back-marker. The weather deteriorated slightly during the morning and we had a short shower for a time before lunch, it then stayed dry but cloudy for the rest of the walk with a very comfortable temperature for walking. Our walk took us along the most picturesque section of the Elham Valley where we admired lovely views from both sides of the valley. We passed through woods where the last few bluebells were showing, via a nature reserve at Jumping Down and then through the small villages of Kingston and Bishopsbourne. Our route then passed through Bridge and Patrixbourne to join the North Downs/Pilgrims Way into Canterbury. Many thanks to Kristen for the photos.
